MOPAR do it yourself restoration tips. chrysler restoration

Welcome to Kev's Garage.

This site is dedicated to the Do It Yourself Restoration. I may not have the technical information you could get from a mechanic, but when you do a restoration yourself you save a lot of money, and it gives you the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
My Do It Yourself Restoration is a 1969 Plymouth Satellite. I did all of the restoration myself interior and exterior. I did have the mill work done on the engine by the A-Team, and I assembled the engine with Ray's help then we installed it. It may not have the professional touch but I am happy with the results.

Visit the My Mopar page for more information on my MOPAR Do It Yourself Restoration.

I am not going to argue that a professional job isn't a thing of beauty. Anybody can buy a car that was done by someone else, but anybody can do a restoration with a little help from friends, the right books for information, a little (OK a lot)of extra time and the right attitude. Not only do you have the pride of ownership but the pride of creating something you can enjoy.

If you have any restoration tips you would like to share with other readers or if you have anything to contribute, cruise nights, car clubs, events, swap meets, anything classic car related, please contact me @ Kev's Garage.
